B-Double Interstate Driver
The Role
Lane Transport is hiring experienced B-Double Interstate Drivers for full-time roles based in Adelaide and Melbourne. The position involves operating B-Double setups primarily between Melbourne and Adelaide, with occasional trips to Sydney and Brisbane. Drivers are offered one truck and trailer per driver, allowing for parking at home. The company values driver autonomy and offers competitive pay up to $130,000 per year, including above-award KM rates and overnight allowances, with additional pay for split loads and second drops. Candidates must possess a valid MC Licence, a license history printout, police check, and a current fit-to-drive medical (including drug & alcohol screen). Experience operating B-Double interstate trucks is required, and Basic Fatigue Management is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive B-Double interstate routes.
- Transport full loads of palletized freight.
