B-Double Interstate Driver
The Role
Lane Transport is seeking experienced B-Double Interstate Drivers for full-time roles based out of Adelaide and Melbourne. The primary routes are between Melbourne and Adelaide, with occasional trips to Brisbane and Sydney. Drivers are assigned one truck and trailers and have the freedom to park at home. The role offers competitive pay up to $130,000 per year, an above award KM rate, overnight allowance, and additional pay for split loads and second drops. The company values driver autonomy, professionalism, and safety. Responsibilities include transporting full loads of palletized freight, adhering to safe driving practices, and maintaining assigned equipment. Applicants must hold a valid MC Licence and a current Fit to Drive Medical (including drug & alcohol screen). Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) is preferred.
