Experienced HC/MC Dangerous Goods Driver
The Role
Join Chemtrans, a division of K&S Freighters and an industry leader in transporting Dangerous and Hazardous Goods and chemicals. This casual position within the high-performing Chemtrans projects team is ideal for experienced Dangerous Goods Drivers seeking flexible work. You will be responsible for local, linehaul, and country routes, including container and rail deliveries. **Key Responsibilities:** * Safely complete deliveries and secure loads. * Conduct pre-start vehicle checks. * Adapt quickly to changing operational needs. * Accurately complete required documentation. * Operate and maintain equipment according to policy and safety standards. * Provide professional customer service. * Ensure a safe working environment by upholding health and safety standards. **What you'll bring:** * Valid MC/HC licence. * Australian citizenship (required for security clearance). * Ability to successfully complete police and ASIO checks. * Successful pre-employment medical outcome. * Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance (or willing to obtain within 6 months). * Hold or be willing to obtain an explosives and dangerous goods licence. * Hold MSIC or willingness to obtain. * Rail and port induction a plus. * Side loader and SSAN Explosives transport experience preferred. * Reach stacker and side loader experience beneficial. * Experience with local, country, and interstate deliveries. **Benefits:** * Employee recognition and rewards program. * 24/7 Employee assistance program, including financial wellness support. * Corporate health plan discount. * Stable ASX listed, multi-modal business with 80 years of industry history.
