HC Semi NSW Country Linehaul Driver (One truck/trailer one driver)
The Role
Challenger Logistics Group is seeking a dedicated HC Semi NSW Country Linehaul Driver based in Sydney. This role involves driving regional NSW routes in modern equipment, focusing on single truck/trailer operations. Key responsibilities include consistent shifts, electronic logbook management, full and multi-drop part loads to locations like Wagga Wagga, Tamworth, Canberra, Port Macquarie, and Orange from Western Sydney, accurate paperwork completion, and quality load restraint of palletised/unitised stock. Drivers will be home on weekends, starting Sunday afternoon/night and returning Friday afternoon, with overnight stays in-vehicle across regional NSW. The role averages 3500-4000 kms per week and is based out of Moorebank with safe parking. The company offers a competitive gross pay of approximately $120,000-$140,000 PA plus super, above award rates and allowances, new (2025) equipment (1 truck and trailer per driver), consistent work, and a yearly reward/bonus. Candidates must have at least 2 years of HC transport driving experience, a current HC license, comfort with being away from home for 2-3 nights per week, knowledge of load restraint procedures, ability to conduct pre & post-trip inspections via an application, and Australian work authorisation. BFM certification is preferred but training can be assisted with, and multi-drop HC driving experience is preferred.
