HC/MC Livestock Operator
The Role
White Livestock Transport, a family-owned business near Benalla in North East Victoria, is seeking a skilled and practical HC or MC Livestock Operator. The company operates a truck and trailer plus three B-Double combinations, transporting sheep and cattle locally and interstate. The role involves loading and unloading livestock, ensuring low-stress handling practices, conducting light maintenance, maintaining vehicle presentation, keeping accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum current HC licence (MC preferred or willingness to upgrade), experience with sheep and cattle handling, the ability to work independently, good communication skills, and practical skills for light mechanical tasks. A clean driving record and willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing are required.
