This role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with leading-edge equipment while maintaining the highest safety standards. **What You’ll Do:** * Safely transport various freight interstate based on customer requirements. * Perform pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment. * Restrain loads using chains, ratchet chains, and straps (Flat Tops). * Manage fatigue in line with guidelines and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements. * Operate MC configurations efficiently to deliver freight safely and on time. * Use in-cab technology to support operations. **What You’ll Bring:** * A valid MC Licence and at least 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles. * Strong understanding of load restraint and COR regulations. * Impeccable safety record with a focus on compliance and fatigue management. * High-quality customer service and communication skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new in-cab technology. ## Why Join Hornby Transport Services? * **Attractive Pay:** Earn between $110,000–$150,000 per annum, with competitive per-km rates and loading/unloading allowances. * Work with a modern fleet equipped with advanced technology. * Opportunities to grow with a company committed to safety and sustainability. * Positions available in Newcastle, Brisbane, and Wollongong. ## Important Information: Applicants must pass a driver history check and a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
