The Role
# Phoenix Trucking Co | MC Interstate Operator – Canberra Phoenix Trucking Co is seeking an experienced MC Interstate Operator for a full-time position based in Canberra. This role offers straightforward interstate work operating a cab-over Kenworth with a manual gearbox, running tautliner freight on regular routes between Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide, with occasional Brisbane runs. Most work involves unload and reload in the same yard, making it a clean, efficient linehaul role. A Canberra-based driver is strongly preferred. ## What’s On Offer * Full-time MC position * 3500 – 5500 km per week * One man / one truck policy * Monthly RDO * All allowances paid * Mostly yard-to-yard unload / reload * Easy, no-nonsense linehaul work * Quality equipment with air tensioners * Stable interstate routes with predictable scheduling ## The Equipment * Cab-over Kenworth * Manual gearbox (Road Ranger style operation) * Tautliner trailers * Well-maintained, driver-friendly setup ## The Work * Interstate linehaul from Canberra * Regular runs to: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide * Occasional Brisbane * Mostly unload and reload within the same depot * Clean freight and efficient turnarounds ## Role Requirements To be successful, you will have: * MC Licence (required) * Strong manual gearbox experience * Proven interstate or linehaul experience * Reliable work ethic and professional attitude * Ability to work independently * Canberra-based drivers highly regarded If you’re an MC driver looking for a clean, easy interstate role based out of Canberra, email your details to phoenixtrucking@icloud.com.
