The Role
# Yard Hand / Forklift Driver – Perth Gibson Austwide, a well-established general freight company based in Maddington, is seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Hand / Forklift Driver to join their team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on and varied role in a fast-paced transport environment. ## About the Role Reporting to the WA Depot Manager, your duties will include: * Loading and unloading B-double and rail trailers * Receiving and dispatching freight * Multi-drop deliveries as a relief driver when required * Ute deliveries * General yard upkeep and maintenance * Supporting day-to-day warehouse and transport operations ## What We Offer * Casual position: 30–35 hours per week * 6:00 AM starts * $35 per hour * Friendly team environment with ongoing support ## About You To be successful, you will need: * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar freight/transport role * Current Forklift Licence * Minimum MR Truck Licence * Good understanding of freight handling and safe work practices * Basic computer skills * Strong work ethic and reliability * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
