Yard Tug / Shunt Truck Driver – Darwin

Centurion is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Tug / Shunt Truck Driver for their Darwin operations. This permanent full-time role involves operating a tug or shunt truck within the depot, moving trailers and freight efficiently, loading/unloading materials, assisting with local deliveries, and performing general yard duties. The successful candidate will conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, and maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment. Responsibilities:

• Operate a tug or shunt truck safely within the depot.
• Move trailers and freight around the yard efficiently.
• Load and unload materials as required.
• Assist with local deliveries and general yard duties.
• Organise trailers and freight for dispatch.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections.
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Experience operating a tug, shunt truck, or similar heavy vehicle.
• Current HC or MC Licence preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
