HC/MC Tanker Drivers – Perth
Unanderra Tanker Hire (UTH) is seeking experienced HC/MC Tanker Drivers to join their dedicated team in Wattleup, WA. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of various non-DG powder flocs and bulk liquid chemicals to clients across the region. The position can be full-time or casual, with competitive hourly rates and penalties.
UTH is a family-owned business with over 45 years of experience in liquid transportation services, priding itself on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy commercial vehicles, including tankers, to transport liquids and dry bulk.
- Drive various trailer configurations (Single, B Double, Road Train).
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to road transport regulations and company policies.
- Utilize and maintain Electronic Work Diaries (EWD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for deliveries and issue resolution.
- Complete all necessary inductions, paperwork, and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute to continuous operational improvement.
Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Combination (HC) or Multiple Combination (MC) driver's licence.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tanker Driver or similar heavy vehicle role.
- Mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
- Reside close to Wattleup.
- Proficient computer skills for online inductions and paperwork.
- Thorough understanding of road transport regulations and safe driving practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high safety and professionalism standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to help grow the company.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol tests.

Loading points are in Kwinana, Canning Vale, and Welshpool, with deliveries around the Worsley, Boddington, and Pinjarra areas. The working week is typically Monday to Friday. Applications are also encouraged from older drivers seeking part-time work.
