Interstate MC Tautliner Drivers

Hornby Transport Services is seeking experienced Tautliner MC Drivers to transport freight interstate. The company operates a modern fleet and prioritizes safety, sustainability, and efficiency. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with leading-edge equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport various freight interstate based on customer requirements.
• Perform pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Restrain loads using chains, ratchet chains, and straps (Flat Tops).
• Manage fatigue in line with guidelines and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements.
• Operate MC configurations efficiently to deliver freight safely and on time.
• Use in-cab technology to support operations.

Requirements:

• A valid MC Licence and at least 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
• Strong understanding of load restraint and COR regulations.
• Impeccable safety record with a focus on compliance and fatigue management.
• High-quality customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new in-cab technology.
