Local HR Tilt Tray Truck Driver – Wollongong

Murrell Freight Services is seeking an experienced Local HR Tilt Tray Truck Driver for a full-time, permanent position based in Wollongong. The role involves the safe and timely transportation of goods predominantly across local and regional routes. The successful candidate will work closely with the transport team to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy vehicles, including tilt tray and sweeper.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery and pickup.
• Assist with safe and efficient loading and unloading, ensuring load restraint compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks.
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections.
• Follow all road safety rules, particularly for heavy vehicles.
• Collaborate with the transport manager and team.

Requirements:

• Valid HR license.
• MSIC card (preferable).
• Experience with various freight types and load restraint systems.
• Strong time management skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
• Experience operating onboard reporting technology (tablet).
• Proactive in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance with NHVAS Mass, Maintenance, and Fatigue protocols.
