MC DG Truck Driver – Kalgoorlie

Sykes Transport, a long-established family-run transport company in WA, is seeking an experienced MC Dangerous Goods Truck Driver to operate from their Kalgoorlie depot. This is a permanent full-time (after trial period) Drive-In/Drive-Out (DIDO) role with a 10/4 day roster, primarily ex-Perth, with accommodation provided in Kalgoorlie. Local Kalgoorlie residents are also encouraged to apply.

The role involves transporting Dangerous Goods freight using a diverse fleet of vehicles with Road Ranger gearboxes, including B-Double, Road Train, Container, and General Freight work. The company values reliability, safety, and strong client relationships.

Key Details:

• Roster: 10 days on, 4 days off
• Base: Kalgoorlie (DIDO from Perth, or local)
• Freight: Dangerous Goods, General Freight, Container Work
• Equipment: Road Ranger gearboxes, diverse fleet (Kenworth, Volvo, Sideloaders, Skel, Tray Top)
• Accommodation: Provided in Kalgoorlie

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' MC driving experience
• Proficiency with Road Ranger gearboxes
• Dangerous Goods (DG) accreditation
• Valid Commercial Vehicle Driver’s Medical
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing
• Positive attitude, reliability, and team spirit
