With a focus on innovation, safety, and continuous improvement, K&S Freighters is a key player in Australia's supply chain, offering road, rail, sea forwarding, export packing, and wharf lodgement services.
About the Role
This role involves driving brand-new trucks and delivering freight efficiently and safely between Gympie and Brisbane. K&S is looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals passionate about transport and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-start checks on vehicles.
- Efficiently and safely deliver freight between Gympie and Brisbane.
- Utilize and manage restraint methods (training provided if required).
- Prepare and complete logbook requirements.
- Travel to various client sites and prepare trucks for loading/unloading (e.g., loosening straps, chains).
- Work with a diverse range of vehicles and equipment.
What You’ll Need
- A valid MC Licence.
- Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
- A strong focus on safety and adherence to company policies.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience using multiple restraint methods (preferred but not essential).
