About the Role
We’re seeking a HC Truck Driver to join our Steel Business Unit in Laverton North. You will be responsible for local steel deliveries, returning home each night, and supporting various operational sites as required. This is a night shift position.

Requirements
- Valid HC Licence (minimum requirement)
- Ability to work night shifts and support operations at varying start times
- Good knowledge of Melbourne metro and regional areas
- Relevant experience in commercial driving
- Experience working with steel preferred (full training provided)
- Understanding of steel tie-down methods (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HC trucks for local steel deliveries
- Comply with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Complete pre-start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with depot and dispatch teams
Pre-Requisites
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check
