MC Local Driver-Day shift – Brisbane

K&S Freighters is seeking a reliable and experienced MC Driver for local day shift work in Brisbane. The role involves transporting a mix of steel, timber, aluminium, and containers within Brisbane Metro, including deliveries and pickups from rail yards and customer sites.

Responsibilities:

• Transporting varied loads including steel, aluminium, timber, or containers.
• Performing rail and wharf work.
• Adhering to safety and compliance policies and procedures.
• Maintaining strong commitment to safety regulations in the yard and warehouse.

Requirements:

• Strong HC driving experience with a desire to upgrade to MC, or strong MC experience.
• Good knowledge of Brisbane metro locations.
• Understanding of load restraint or willingness to learn.
• MC licence preferred; K&S will train suitable HC candidates for MC.
• Forklift licence advantageous; K&S will cover ticket cost after probation if needed.
• MSIC licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable, responsible, with a positive attitude.
• Exceptional commitment to safety.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a small team.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
