MC Platform Operator (50T, 100T)

K&S Freighters is seeking a mechanically minded MC Platform Operator to join their Heavy Haulage team in Perth. Based in High Wycombe, this role involves operating Drake platform trailers (50T & 100T) to transport large-scale equipment across Western Australia's mining and industrial sectors, with occasional interstate trips.

Responsibilities include:

• Transporting oversized and heavy machinery to mine sites and customer locations.
• Applying strong knowledge of load restraint and over-mass regulations.
• Providing professional, customer-focused service.
• Safely managing fatigue hours.
• Assisting with minor mechanical issues.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards for truck and equipment.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Valid MC licence (essential).
• Experience with Drake Platforms preferred.
• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of permit requirements and fatigue management.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
