Pilot Driver – Perth

K&S Freighters Heavy Haulage Division is seeking a professional Pilot Driver to join their Perth-based team. This role involves guiding heavy vehicles transporting oversized and over-mass freight across WA and occasionally interstate. The successful candidate will provide accurate guidance, safely escort loads, ensure compliance with permit requirements, manage fatigue, and maintain high standards of professionalism and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear, accurate guidance to heavy vehicle drivers.
• Safely pilot and escort oversized loads locally, regionally, and interstate.
• Ensure strict compliance with oversize, over-mass, and over-height permit requirements.
• Effectively manage fatigue and adhere to company safety standards.
• Support operations with high standards of housekeeping and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Valid C Class licence (essential).
• Heavy Vehicle Pilot licence (essential).
• Strong knowledge of WA regional roads, mine site access, and restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• High safety focus with an understanding of permit compliance and fatigue management.
