Yard Hand / Forklift Driver

Gibson Austwide, a well-established general freight company in Maddington, is seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Hand / Forklift Driver to join their team on a casual basis. This hands-on role involves loading/unloading B-double and rail trailers, receiving/dispatching freight, multi-drop deliveries as a relief driver, ute deliveries, general yard upkeep, and supporting daily warehouse and transport operations. The position offers 30–35 hours per week with 6:00 AM starts and pays $35 per hour. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar freight/transport role, a current Forklift Licence, a minimum MR Truck Licence, good understanding of freight handling and safe work practices, basic computer skills, a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
